RoastMyBudget is a free, ad-supported community for posting your monthly budget anonymously and getting honest feedback. You don't need an account; we identify posts only by an anonymous handle saved in your browser.

By posting, you confirm that:

• The information is yours to share, or is generic enough not to identify anyone else.
• You own or otherwise have all necessary rights to the content you submit, including any photos, screenshots, or text.
• You won't post real names, addresses, account numbers, government IDs, or anyone else's personal information.
• No doxing. Do not submit another person's private financial information without their consent, and do not post content intended to identify, locate, or expose another person.
• You won't post threats, harassment, hate speech, sexual content, illegal content, or spam.
• By submitting content, you grant RoastMyBudget a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with the service.
• You can ask us to delete your post at any time.

Be honest, but be human. The point is helpful feedback — not cruelty. We filter obvious profanity automatically and may remove anything that crosses the line. Repeat abusers may be blocked, and posts may be removed at our discretion.

Moderation discretion. RoastMyBudget reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without notice, to remove or refuse any content, for any reason or no reason, and to suspend or block any user. We are not obligated to host, retain, or preserve any submission.

Nothing on RoastMyBudget is professional financial advice. Don't make major money decisions based on a stranger's comment alone — you know what you're doing with your money better than they do.

The site is supported by ads served via Google AdSense. By using the site, you accept that ads will be shown on most pages.

The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” with no warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of posts, or that comments will be helpful, accurate, or appropriate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of RoastMyBudget is not liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages.

Liability cap.The operator's total aggregate liability to you, for any and all claims arising out of or relating to the site, is capped at $0 (zero U.S. dollars). You agree that this cap is a fundamental element of these terms and reflects the fact that the site is provided to you free of charge.

These terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to your use of the site, are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in California shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

We may update these terms over time. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page.
